Orthomanufacture is an annual trade show, which takes place every other year in France and Switzerland. This event is dedicated to the medical industry and to the manufacturing technologies of implants and instruments in orthopedics, traumatology, spine, dental and cardiac fields. Each year, it brings together some fifty industrial exhibitors.

Thus, these two consecutive days are an opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors of the sector to exchange, discover and learn about technical, medical and regulatory developments.

Additionnaly, technical and scientific conferences are also held and animated by experts from research, education and industry.

Meet Selenium Medical in Switzerland

This year for this 6th edition, the event will take place on April 26 and 27 at the Beaulieu Convention and Exhibition Center, in Lausanne, Switzerland. About 200 to 250 visitors and listeners are expected.

During these 2 days, Selenium Medical will be exhibiting to present and share its know-how and expertise in the following fields :

• Surface treatment of medical devices and control of chemical processes (anodization, electropolishing, passivation, robotic masking and sandblasting, nano-etching, laser marking).
• Cleaning, decontamination, assembling and packaging of medical devices. As well as assistance in the validation and logistics of the gamma sterilization process.
• Plastic injection and thermoforming in clean room.
• R&D, consulting, support for the realization of qualifications / validations of special processes. As well as the realization of all the associated tests.

Also, it is an opportunity to present and showcase its innovative and patented solutions in the fields of packaging (SoBliss®, SoKlean®, SoEasy®) and chemical processes (StarSurf®).

For the first time Selenium Medical exhibited at the International Dental Show (IDS) 2023, March 14-18 in Cologne, Germany.

The largest international trade fair for the dental industry

IDS is the world’s leading dental trade fair and takes place every two years in Cologne, Germany. It is the international meeting place for industry representatives to learn about current and future market trends. But also to discover new processes and new technologies related to dental care and infection protection.

This year the event took place for the 40th time and celebrated its 100th anniversary. It has gathered more than 1,780 exhibitors from 60 different countries and attracted nearly 120,000 visitors from 162 different countries!

Five days rich in meetings and discussions for Selenium Medical

During 5 days, our team had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and to discover new projects. Also to get feedbacks from prospects and customers. It was also an opportunity for Selenium Medical to present to these players of the dental industry, its latest innovation StarSurf. This is a nano-etching process that improves the wettability of titanium and titanium alloy implants.  And thus accelerates their osseointegration. But also to discover its SoKlean solution, a holder dedicated to the dental industry which enables to protect the outer surface of the implants thanks to its titanium ring.
