Selenium Medical is pleased to announce its support through the Téro Invest’ program, an initiative led by the La Rochelle Agglomeration Community that assists SMEs engaged in ecological and energy transition projects.

This grant supports the integration of an innovative technology into our processes: the supercritical CO₂ cleaning of medical devices.

A program supporting ecological transition

Launched in 2021, the Téro call for projects addresses the challenges of territorial decarbonization and the objectives of the La Rochelle Zero Carbon Territory program. It supports companies operating for more than three years in the La Rochelle area and is structured around two complementary schemes:

  • Téro Conseil: expert guidance to perform diagnostics and provide tailored recommendations.

  • Téro Invest’: a grant covering 15 to 30% of investment costs.

This program promotes local development while encouraging companies to combine economic growth and environmental responsibility.

Supercritical CO₂: innovation with reduced impact

Selenium Medical has been awarded Téro Invest’ to implement supercritical CO₂ cleaning for medical devices.

This innovative technology enables:

  • cleaning without water or solvents

  • reduced effluents

  • operation at low temperature without drying steps, minimizing energy consumption

  • use of recovered CO₂ recycled in a closed loop

Following our initial support through Téro Conseil for optimizing the energy efficiency of our ZAC, this new step confirms our commitment to industrial performance, technological innovation, and environmental responsibility.
