Our expertise is based on a deep understanding of chemical, electrochemical, mechanical, and marking processes, improving the surface quality of implants and surgical instruments.

We specialize in critical materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and its alloys, addressing key challenges like corrosion, biocompatibility, and wear resistance.

Our surface treatment processes

Passivation

Improves corrosion resistance of stainless steel and titanium devices according to ASTM A967, while stabilizing laser marking.

Electropolishing

Provides a bright finish to stainless steel parts, removing micro-burrs and machining imperfections. and ferritic deposits, optimizing corrosion resistance while preserving the functional parts.

Automated Sandblasting

Sanding of implants with two distinct types of abrasives thanks to our robotic cell for large or small productions, allowing controlled modification of the surface roughness and controlled repeatability. Followed or not by our StarSurf® micro and nano etching process.

Masking

Selective treatment (two-tone anodization or heterogeneous treatment) by gel masking and automated deposition, guaranteeing optimal precision and repeatability, without residue and preserving the biocompatibility of medical devices.

Laser marking

Multi-purpose laser marking with rotating mandrels, for the identification, traceability, graduation and marking of medical devices. Surface marking (shallow thermally affected area), preserving mechanical properties and resistant to passivation.

Anodization

Our automated lines allow us to offer three types of anodization for titanium and titanium alloy medical devices only, according to their use and according to expectations.

  • Type I anodization: Allows the identification of ranges and sizes of devices with a matte or satin finish, offering a choice of 52 colors.

 

  • Type III anodization: Facilitates the identification of devices and preserves their initial appearance (polished, brushed or microblasted) as well as their dimensional characteristics, with a reference of 52 colors.

 

  • Type II
 anodization: Ensures optimal protection of medical devices with a thick, hard oxide layer, resistant to wear thanks to its dry lubricant properties. Anthracite gray finish, compliant with AMS2488 standard.
