Selenium Medical teams took part in a new sporting challenge: the first EKIDEN at Châtelaillon-Plage on Sunday April 14.

On Sunday April 14, Châtelaillon-Plage played host to the Ekiden, a major sporting event organized by the Serge Vigot La Rochelle Marathon Association. The Ekiden is originally a race from Japan that translates as “relay marathon“. Indeed, the sum of the distances to be covered by all the candidates in a team must be equal to that of the marathon, either 42.195 kilometers. Runners must complete this distance in relays of 6 team members. Then, successively covering the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and finally 7.195 km. The advantage of this sporting challenge is its relay format, which makes the race accessible to as many people as possible! No fewer than 150 teams gathered in Châtelaillon-Plage for the event, 39 of them representing local companies. A unique opportunity to combine sportsmanship and professional dynamism!

So, on Sunday, three Selenium Medical teams set off on this marathon relay race in glorious sunshine! The effort and determination of our runners paid off, as one of our teams brilliantly took 3rd place on the podium among the 39 other company teams. A huge bravo to them for this remarkable performance! Congratulations also to all our runners for their commitment and determination throughout the race. As well, a big thank you for representing Selenium Medical with such energy!

Medi’Nov Connection took place on April 03 and 04 at the Palais des Congrès in Lyon, where Selenium Medical was an exhibitor.

Medi’Nov Connection: innovation at the heart of the event

The annual Medi’Nov Connection event, organized by First Connection, focuses on Medtech, bringing together medical device manufacturers, hospitals, subcontractors and service providers. It’s an opportunity to take part in a BtoB platform and congress to discuss trends and innovations in the sector.

The 2024 edition, which took place on April 03 and 04 at Lyon’s Palais des Congrès, attracted 1,350 participants, including 1,000 visitors, 150 exhibitors and 80 speakers. This 12th edition focused on innovation and featured a diversified program:

Our team took advantage of these two days to discuss our services, meet new prospects and explore new opportunities. Pharmapack 2024: Europe’s leading packaging and drug delivery exhibition

Pharmapack, is a major European event dedicated to pharmaceutical packaging, drug delivery, medical devices and machinery. It is held every year in Paris. Bringing together over 5,000 participants and more than 300 exhibitors from 75 different countries. The event offers two days of innovation, networking and education.

Indeed, over the two days, participants have access to a rich program of content. Including workshops and learning labs led by industry experts.
